A liveaboard dive trip is a diving holiday where you sleep, eat and dive from the same boat for several nights. The boat moves between dive sites while you rest, so you reach remote reefs that day boats cannot, dive up to 3 or 4 times a day and skip the daily transfers. On a DUNE liveaboard you unpack once and our crew takes care of the rest.

DUNE runs liveaboards in three main regions. In Indonesia, DUNE Aurora sails Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea, Halmahera and the Lembeh Strait. In the Maldives, we sail DUNE Black Manta and DUNE Theia. In the Egyptian Red Sea, we run DUNE Longara, DUNE Silky and DUNE Titan. We sail DUNE Arcadia in Saudi Arabia as well. Each destination page shows routes, dates and prices.

Our cabin prices are all inclusive of taxes, service charges and local fees such as national park, port and environmental taxes. A typical trip also includes your cabin with a private bathroom, all meals and soft drinks, tanks and weights, dive guides and airport transfers on the first and last day. Flights, rental gear, courses, alcohol, massage, laundry and crew tips are extra, dive insurance, and fuel surcharge is mandatory.

Choose your destination, select your preferred dates and cabin on our Schedule page, then click Book Now or contact our team. A 10% deposit is required to secure your cabin and must be paid no later than 14 days after your reservation. If your booking benefits from our 10% Early Booking Discount, a 20% deposit will be required to secure the booking.

If you cancel more than 60 days before departure, you only lose the deposit you have already paid. Cancellations 60 days or less before departure are charged in full, so we strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation. If a trip does not reach guaranteed departure, we cancel it at least 30 days before and give you a credit note for a future booking.

Not always, because the level depends on the route. Some trips accept Open Water divers with around 30 logged dives, while current rich routes such as the Banda Sea or the Brothers in Egypt ask for Advanced Open Water with 50 logged dives. Every trip page lists its required level, and our team will review your logbook and suggest the itinerary that fits you.

Yes. Non divers and snorkelers are welcome on many of our trips. They can snorkel, kayak, paddleboard, join the island and village excursions or simply relax on deck while their partner dives. Tell our team when you book, so we can recommend a route with good snorkeling for your travel dates.

Yes, and many of our guests travel alone. You can share a twin cabin with another guest of the same gender, or book the cabin for yourself with a single supplement. A liveaboard is one of the easiest ways to travel solo, because you dive, eat and relax with other divers from around the world.

Do you offer last minute liveaboard deals or early booking discounts?

DUNE Aurora is a traditional Phinisi that takes a maximum of 18 guests through Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea and other remote parts of eastern Indonesia. Every trip has four dive guides and a cruise manager, free Nitrox for certified divers, an onboard spa, kayaks and paddleboards, and a free 2GB Starlink voucher, so you get small group diving with real comfort between dives.
