Our team will welcome you at the airport. You will be transferred by bus to the marina. Your cabin will then be assigned, and you will have the opportunity to explore the boat.
After breakfast, a welcome briefing will be presented by the guide, covering the week's itinerary, onboard safety instructions, etc. Your diving documents and insurance will be checked before leaving the marina. The captain will head to the first diving site, just 30 minutes from departure, where the briefing for the “Check Dive” will take place. After lunch, you will perform the second dive of the day in the Hurghada area before continuing your journey northward to reach El Gouna, where you will spend the night at a site sheltered from the waves.
On the third day of your trip, you'll have the chance to explore the island of Tiran. Located near the tip of Sinai, this island offers unique diving at several different sites. For your first dive, you'll discover the majestic and breathtaking Thomas Canyon. You'll then dive the northernmost site, Jackson Reef, where you may be lucky enough to spot sharks. Finally, Gordon Reef offers a lovely coral garden to end the day!
Explore the wonders of Dahab and Nabq, two iconic diving spots in Sinai. In Dahab, dive the Blue Hole and Canyon, known for dramatic drop-offs and vibrant marine life. Nabq offers tranquil waters, coral plateaus, and mangroves, with turtles and rays for all-level divers.
Discover the best of Ras Mohamed and the Thistlegorm, two iconic Red Sea dive sites. Ras Mohamed offers vibrant coral reefs, dramatic walls, and abundant marine life, making it a must-see for divers. At the Thistlegorm, explore the legendary WWII shipwreck, filled with fascinating artifacts and surrounded by schools of fish, creating a perfect mix of history and underwater adventure.
Today, you will dive at least twice on the wreck of the SS Thistlegorm. Then, you will sail for two hours across the Strait of Gubal to reach the small island of Gubal, where you will make the third dive of the day.
Explore Abu Nuhas and Hurghada, two gems of the Red Sea. Abu Nuhas is home to historic shipwrecks teeming with marine life, while Hurghada boasts vibrant reefs and an abundance of fish, perfect for divers of all levels.
Explore the underwater wonders of Safaga, a prime diving destination in the Red Sea. Known for its vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and clear waters, Safaga offers incredible dive sites like Panorama Reef and Abu Kafan, where you can experience breathtaking drop-offs, colorful gardens, and encounters with pelagic species. Perfect for divers of all levels, Safaga promises unforgettable underwater adventures.
On the ninth day, you’ll dive at the iconic Brother Islands, starting with Big Brother’s dramatic coral walls and possible shark sightings. Next, explore Little Brother’s vibrant marine life and stunning soft corals. A third dive will wrap up this incredible day.
Three dives are offered at the Daedalus site, a potential meeting place with hammerhead sharks. A visit to the lighthouse may be organized by your guide, depending on agreements with the local keepers.
You will perform three dives around Rocky and Zabargad islands. The navigation time between sites varies from 30 to 45 minutes. Dive sites are carefully selected by your guide based on the weather and the number of boats at each site.
Early in the morning, the captain and his crew will take you to the dive sites at St. John's. Three dives are planned for the day. The navigation times between sites in the St. John's area vary between 30 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes. Dive sites are carefully chosen by your guide based on the weather conditions and the number of boats present.
Today, we begin our journey northward. En route, we will stop at Sataya (Dolphin House) located in the Fury Shoals area, where you may have the opportunity to swim with dolphins. We will then continue north to the Sheleneyat site in the Wadi Gemal area, where the third dive of the day will take place at twilight or night.
In the early morning, you will arrive in the Marsa Alam area, at the legendary Elphinstone Reef. You will conduct two dives there, before sailing for another two hours to reach Port Ghalib Marina in the early afternoon. You can use the rear platform to rinse your gear. Your guide will also offer various non-diving activities to keep you entertained on Friday afternoon.
Depart from the boat after breakfast or earlier depending on your transfer time to the airport or hotel.
Level 2 or Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)
with a minimum of 50 dives is required
On board, both local cuisine and
international menus will be served.
Passengers are greeted at the airport by a
DUNE Egypt representative, holding a “DUNE”
sign. The meeting point will generally be just outside the arrival hall after the baggage claim and customs clearance area. You have the possibility of getting airport assistance with visa issuance for an extra fee.
